Today I was in my EC class. I came into the class later than I usually do because I had to go show my video of me and Glasses to my Teacher Cadet teacher, so I got there as they were washing their hands to leave for lunch. I walked in and I could just see Gma because everyone else was around Birds desk. He was having some reactions to allergies so they let him take a little nap before lunch. Kate was helping him up because his leg was asleep. He got up and realized that he couldnt really walk that well so he almost fell but Kate caught him. The look on his face was priceless, like "Why arnt my legs working?!", it was hilarious. Once he limped over to wash his hands and was ready to leave we all walked down for lunch. I waited on Mama but Gma and the other kids went ahead down. So me and Kate walked with her down to the lunch room. She kept doing the sign for french fries and we were telling her to run to her french fries so she was skipping down the hall, laughing and looking back at us, while slapping her butt. It was a sight to see.
Lunch happened as usual, except I had to wait for like ten minutes for one burrito. We walked back and me and Kate stayed with Glasses for his meds.
We got in there and Nurse Linda had said that she would play "Prince Ali" from Alladin for Glasses, he loves that song. So we came in and she was playing it and some other songs from that movie and we were all dancing around together. Since Im pretty much a foot taller than glasses, I went down to dip myself and he got lifted up on my belly. It was so funny, we were all laughing and dancing around. He ate his medicine apple sauce and we went up to the classroom.
I asked Yoosh if I could do the reading lesson with Kate and he said yes, so I taught the kids all about Platypus's. It was a really wierd animal, but really interesting. The kids seemed to enjoy it, so that was all I really cared about. They all kept talking about Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb, and I was like "Guys, real platypus's arnt green and blue."
It was a fun day and I was glad to get the expirience of teaching more reading lessons.
