Today I went to the Exceptional Children class at the high school and it was movie day! Today, the kids didnt really do any special things or go anywhere so it was pretty much just a normal day.
I came in and I walked around and hung out with the girls and just talked to them. But, today Tired was in the fitness center so I didnt get to hang out with her. Kate was there so me and her made lunches and then went and hung out with the kids more. We went on the computer and played music for the kids to dance to, it was funny. First we played "Pretty Girl Rock" because one of the girls in the class is perfect for that song, then we played "S Club Party" and "Bye Bye Bye" for Bird to dance to. He remembered every single step to the S Club 7 song and to the Bye Bye Bye song, it was very strange but funny.
We left for lunch and walked to the cafeteria and waited for the rest of the class. I went with Tired and Mama up in the line and helped them get their lunch and then we went back to the table and started eating. There are two new boys coming into the class next year and they have been coming in and sitting with the class just to get used to the environment. One of the boys has been throwing fits like every thirty minutes, and thats just when they are visiting, so we were talking about how fun that will be for me next year! But the other boy is really sweet so he will make up for it.
Me and Kate went and took Glasses to go get his medicine and he was acting too crazy. We were telling knock knock jokes that werent even funny but he was busting out laughing because of them. Him and Kate were high fiveing and he would literally fall on her he was getting so excited. It was so funny!
When we got back to the classroom I took glasses into the kitchen and I filmed me doing a mini lesson. First we were going to do a lesson where he sorts out money, but we spilled the money, and then tried to start it but couldnt see the numbers on the bills good enough to sort them. The reason I call him "Glasses" is because he has glasses as thick as almost a inch. So he definitely couldnt see those little numbers well enough to sort them. So then we sorted out colored chips, and he did really well with that. The video is so funny, so everybody should definitely watch it.
When we were done with the lesson Glasses went into the other room with the other class and watched "Scooby Doo". Me, Kate and Yoosh went to print stuff out for Monday and we helped him get ready for that. And then we left and went home. That was one fun friday!
