"He Can Lift That?!"-- Blog 18

This morning during work out time something kind of scary happened. I wasn't here for it, but I heard all about it. So Yoosh told Bird to ride for twenty minutes on the bike in the gym. After he took a trip to the bathroom for twenty-five minutes, Yoosh went and got him and brought him back. He was already a little worked up and didn't really want to ride the bike, so was resisting a lot already. When Yoosh finally got him on the bike he just sat there and then rode a little and then would sit there again and so forth. So when twenty minutes had passed by Yoosh told Bird that he was done and could go write on the dry erase board. Yoosh watched him go over to the board and went to work with the other students. All of the sudden Yoosh saw Bird running at full speed across the work out room. He barrelled into the exercise bike and picked it up and threw it across the room. Thankfully no one was hurt, except for the bike.
During lunch Bird was on edge and tense. He also didn't get to walk with Neal and the other boys and had to wait for everyone else to go to the classroom. He didn't like that very much.
When we get to the classroom we are all just sitting around and Birds mom walks in. She is a whole five foot two inches and probably less than one hundred pounds. Nothing compared to her, apparently, body builder of a son. I have seen her before and she is usually the sweet lady that she appears to be, but today she was fuming. Yoosh tells her all that happened and what occurred in the weight room. Yoosh told her that he threw the bike across the room and she looks scared for his life. In case you don't really know what I'm talking about, the exercise bikes are probably about two hundred pounds and are very large. This isn't any wimpy spinning bike, this is a legitimate piece of heavy duty equipment. I know that if I were her, I would pretty much be scared for my life. After she finishes talking to Yoosh, she walks over to Bird.
He, surprisingly, has a look of terror on his face. Why? I have no idea. She mummers a bunch of harsh and disappointed words to him, and finally she goes to Gma. Gma tells her that she should take the money out of his accounts instead of her own. He has no sense of money and what its worth, so that idea wont work. Gma says that she should sell Birds prized possesions, his CDs, for the money needed. She looks at us stunned, "He doesnt even let me touch his CDs!" Bird has a SUVERE case of OCD. He writes everything perfectly, picks off his hairs, has to have everything straight and neat, and would flip his lid if someone sold his CDs. I was imagining in my head what would happen if Bird came home and found out his mom sold his CDs. In all honesty Jason would probably get so mad that he would physically injure his mother, or worse. He would feel really bad after, but something very bad would still happen. If he gets so angry over riding a bike that he throws it across the room, he wouldnt be able to control himself if someone sold his most prized possesions.
All in all, today was okay... except for all of that! Im pretty sure that the bike was able to make it out of the situation alive, but Jason will still have some very serious consquences to deal with.
