Boogie Down and Melt Down?-- Blog 15

Yes. All in a span of two days boogieing and melting down occurred. When I walked into the classroom on Monday Glasses, Bebe, Mama, and Magic were dancing hard. There was some wierd jazz music playing in the background and these kids were all out going to town. It was so funny! As soon as I walked in, after the initial shock, I could do nothing but laugh. I grabbed all of there hands and danced with them. The funnest person to dance with was definitley Sorry. He joined in later. We were holding hands and spinning around the room. All the while Gma and Kate were sitting in the back laughing. Good thing no one had their cameras. Once Yoosh came in, everyone got serious and calmed down. BUT there was a dancing session, and I was there! So that pretty much covers the "Boogie Down" section of that story.

Now for the "Melt Down" part. So today when I walked into the classroom it was Kate, Lowa, Gma, Mama, Goose and Magic. When I walked in Gma and Lowa were at their desk and Magic kept asking Gma for her purse back. I knew something happened and Kate told me that Magic had called Lowa and Gma the... "b word". I was stunned. I knew that sometimes Bird said bad words, but I had NO clue that Magic ever did. So apparently after she said that, Gma took her purse away because her purse is a really big deal to her. So she was kind of freaking out and me and Kate were messing around and making her feel bad and then.. she said it. She dropped the f bomb on all of us. To be exact she said "F them." There was a unnanamous gasp throughout the whole room. Lowa took Magics purse and started walking towards the kitchen to hide it. Magic freaked out. She jumped up and ran towards Lowa and started crying. We made her sit down and for ten minutes she sat at her desk, crying, and saying that she "wanted to go home" and she was going to "run away". I am so glad that Gma and Lowa were there because me or Kate had no idea what to do. Lowa made her calm down and said that she had to write "I will not use curse words" on a paper and then write a apoplogy letter to them or she wont get her purse back. In the end she wrote a letter and finished her work, got her purse back, and spent the rest of the day sucking up to Lowa and Gma.
Pretty much a very interesting beginning of the week for me.
