Today I was in the EC classroom. I came in and the girls and Bird were in the classroom with Kate and Gma. The classroom looked different. Yoosh had moved Mamas desk against the wall behind Birds (where she can be alone), put Glasses where Mama was, moved Magic to Glasses spot, and moved Knuckles (new eighth grader) to Magics spot. I think it will work better than before because Mama has been in her "attitudy" puberty stage, and she just needs to be able to sit alone so she can focus and not distract other kids. Also she passes gas a lot, so now her and Bird can stink up their little spot as much as they want. I do feel bad for Darling because he sits over there with them, but he never poots.
I wanted all the kids to sign my yearbook so I took it around and got all the kids in the classroom to sign it. Gma was too busy looking at weddings on the internet and she couldnt "think" about what she wanted to write. Mama was being sooooo difficult. She wouldnt sign my yearbook for anything. I told her just to write her name on the paper, but she wouldnt. So I just left her alone. She ended up signing it and drew a heart looking object. She was still being difficult.
We went to lunch and we all just chilled and ate. Mama wanted fries, but they didnt even serve them.. but thankfully she got over that quickly. One of our students parent works in the cafeteria and always asks her parent what she should have for lunch and the parent will tell her. We have been trying to get her to stop doing that and decide for herself what she should eat. She is getting better at it, but sometimes her mom goes out of her way to talk to the child. She did it all buy herself today and got her lunch all alone.
On the way back we went to the nurses office and we rolled around in Nurse Lindas chair. It was really funny because Glasses gets so excited when we play around with him. On the walk back to the class Kate and Glasses have been ditching me and running away from me down the hall trying to leave me outside the elevator. They got closer than usual today, but they didnt leave me.
When we got back to the class the kids finished up their plane project and I spent all my time figuring out what present I should get Yoosh. I finally thought about how stressed he was and fitted the present perfectly. A stress reliever candle and a squeezing ball. Im excited to give it to him tomorrow.
Friday is the end of the year beach party, but me and Kate are going to Special Olymics Summer Games so we wont be there for that, but I will write my reflection on that this week.
